About Me
I am Sangeeta Praveen, an open-minded individual who embraces taking risks and firmly believes in the boundless potential of the human mind, especially in children. While pursuing my postgraduate degree in biotechnology, my passion for teaching was ignited during short lab sessions I conducted for my junior peers. This experience unequivocally confirmed that education and teaching were my true callings.
Over the past decade, with seven of those years spent in IB schools, I have been dedicated to furthering my teaching career, initially in Mumbai, India, and presently in Dubai. In my role, I serve as an IB examiner for personal projects and as a supervisor for biology and psychology Extended Essays (EE) and Internal Assessments (IA).
My overarching vision revolves around nurturing a community characterized by empathy and inclusiveness. I aspire to enable, empower, and inspire all individuals, ensuring their voices are heard. As an experienced educator, my goal is to design engaging, real-world, and purpose-driven learning opportunities. Collaborating with students and colleagues to cultivate fresh ideas brings me immense joy. I find my greatest fulfillment in a vibrant school environment teeming with new ideas and lively discussions.
Beyond my commitment to teaching, I hold certifications as a yoga teacher and a dancer, placing significant emphasis on crafting modules that facilitate relaxation and rejuvenation for both adults and my students
